Lent is soon over: it’s Good Friday, but Easter Sunday is coming! Here are three haikus I wrote for this year’s Lenten journey.
Fast from complaining, And alter your mindset to Feast on gratitude.
Practice a new way. Fast from being critical, Feast on uplifting.
Lent can be a time to exercise letting go and form new habits.
I trust these reminders will carry on.
Beautiful thoughts and beautiful flowers. Thank you. Happy Easter. He is risen indeed!
Indeed!
Wonderful – and somehow the lily pictures are just perfect…
Thank you.
Precisely what we should be doing. Thank you for these reminders, penned in a truly beautiful way. Love the lilies.
Thanks Audrey.
I look forward to seeing Easter lilies at church on Sunday.
What beautiful flowers and you are becoming a real expert haiku writer! Are those flowers from your gardens? I just can’t wait
until we will be able to return to the flower gardens! Happy Easter!
Thanks Shirley.
Yes, the lilies are from my garden.
Valerie, these haikus are lovely! You are a poet!
Thanks, Sheri.
Beautifully put! This seems more significant than some things people abstain from during Lent.
Thank you.
